Founded in 1919, WLAM is a statewide organization of legal professionals dedicated to supporting the advancement of women in the legal field and promoting equality and social justice. The Mid-Michigan Region of WLAM serves Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, and Shiawassee counties.
“It is an incredible honor to serve as president of WLAM’s Mid-Michigan Region,” said Lauren. “For more than 100 years, this organization has played a vital role in supporting women attorneys and advocating for equity in the legal profession. About Lansing Personal Injury Attorney Lauren Kissel
As a Lansing personal injury attorney at Sinas Dramis Law Firm, Lauren focuses her practice on auto accidents, bicycle and pedestrian collisions, motorcycle crashes, wrongful death cases, and sexual assault survivors’ legal advocacy.
Her journey with the firm began when she joined Sinas Dramis as a law clerk while attending law school. Lauren’s academic and professional background made her a natural fit for the firm’s mission of serving as Michigan’s advocates for the injured. While in law school, she spent a semester in Washington, D.C., working with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Suspension and Debarment Division. She also served as Managing Editor of the International Law Review and was actively involved in Michigan State University’s Food Law Clinic—all while excelling academically.
Since joining the State Bar of Michigan in 2018 and becoming a full-time attorney with Sinas Dramis, Lauren has remained deeply engaged in the legal community and her local community of Lansing. In addition to her new leadership role with WLAM, she serves on the executive boards of the Ingham County Bar Association – Young Lawyers Section and the Michigan Association for Justice. She also contributes her legal expertise as associate legal counsel for the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault (CPAN), a statewide advocacy group protecting the rights of car crash survivors.
