Brian and Debra are highly respected within the legal community and have successful track records of obtaining positive results for their clients.

Brian Lawson will work out of Sinas Dramis’ Grand Rapids office where he will follow the firm’s proud tradition of personal injury excellence for those injured in West Michigan clients and beyond. Brian is a seasoned veteran in personal injury law who adds to the firm extensive personal injury experience by handling cases in all areas. Debra joins the firm in an of counsel capacity and will spend time in the firm’s Lansing office. Her highly regarded career brings a great deal of experience to Sinas Dramis, in both personal injury law and employment law cases. Sinas Dramis is proud to serve injured people throughout all of Michigan. With offices in Lansing, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, St. Clair Shores, and Ann Arbor, we are able to represent injured people in all areas of the state.

More About Attorney Brian Lawson

Brian Lawson has practiced law in West Michigan for 30 years, including extended stints with the respected boutique litigation firm Drew, Cooper, and Anding, where he was a partner, and Rhoades McKee, where he was an equity partner and where he served as Litigation Group Chair.  Brian graduated from Franklin College (summa cum laude) with a degree in English in 1989, and from Indiana University School of Law (cum laude) in 1992.  His practice has, from the beginning, revolved around all areas of personal injury law, including product liability, trucking accidents, gas fires and explosions, construction site injuries, nursing home abuse and neglect, and auto/no-fault law.  Brian has secured significant resolutions for his clients through trials, arbitrations, mediation, and settlements. Brian served on the board of the Young Lawyers section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and later as a Trustee of the Grand Rapids Bar. He also served on the board of the Grand Rapids Bar’s Foundation committee.  He also has spoken at various legal conferences and seminars.  Outside of work, Brian has volunteered in various capacities in the community, including serving as a youth soccer coach, serving as a mentor for his son’s robotics team, acting as block captain for his Ottawa Hills neighborhood, volunteering for Special Olympics and Meals on Wheels, and helping to raise money for the local Cystic Fibrosis fundraising drive.  Brian lives in the Cascade area with his wife, Valeri, and together they have two kids, Bennett, who is in graduate school at the University of Michigan, and Anna, who is a sophomore at Michigan State.

More About Attorney Debra Freid

Debra Freid has practiced law in Michigan for more than 40 years and is currently the President and Managing Partner of Freid, Gallagher, Taylor & Associates, P.C. a firm that she co-founded. After graduating from law school at Wayne State University in 1981, she began her prominent career in employment and personal injury law, where she specializes in all types of employment discharge and discrimination cases, civil rights claims, and serious personal injury litigation. In addition to the work she does for her clients, Debra has also had a significant impact on the legal community, serving as Past-President of the Michigan Association for Justice, where she remains a member of its Executive Committee.  She’s also an Officer with the Michigan Chapter of the American Board of Trial Attorneys (ABOTA) and has been inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). In addition, Debra is a member of the Negligence Council for the State Bar and a co-chair of the State Bar Judicial Qualifications Committee.
